"THEY STOLE MY MONEY!!"
THEY STOLE MY MONEY!!
The flowers arrived mushy and broken!! I ordered 2 sets of flowers but only asked for a partial refund if they couldn't send something to replace the mushy and broken ones and instead they sent me $10 .... It's The Worst Flowers Place I Have Ever ORDERED FROM!! Don't be fooled by the pictures or the refund policy on the site because they lied about it!! Understand if you order and the flowers are not what you paid for they will do nothing!! Also make sure you pay with a card that protects the customer not the merchant!! In other words don't use Capitol One Debit Card either!! Fiftyflowers.com Stole My Money!!

"Do NOT buy from this company"
Do NOT buy from this company. I recently placed an order and needed to cancel. I was told I could take the fee of 25% or a credit but was never given an option to change my order. I was also told I would have time to make the decision. Two days later after receiving an email that I was charged $136 for a cancellation fee I asked for the option to change my order and was told I would have to repurchase the items at full price and no credit would be given for the $136 lost. Horrible customer service they absolutely don’t care about their customers at all.

"Buyer Beware!"
Two days before delivery and five days before the wedding Fifty Flowers text messaged me and told me trust the 150 White Tibet Roses I ordered were not available. They said that they would substitute 100 Playa Blanca roses instead. Obviously, I was not thrilled with this solution (different shade of white and 50 roses less) but accepted this solution since I was desperate. The 100 roses were delivered on Saturday (06/25) three days before the wedding, and they were severely heat stressed. Upon opening, I placed them in a large bucket of cold water. I then placed them in the basement. Our house has central AC so it is nice and cool. The roses remained droopy and looked worse by Monday (06/27). I then went to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods on Monday and Tuesday (day of the wedding) and bought every single white rose and other white flowers that I could find. We had centerpieces, and bridal bouquets and boutineers as well as a welcome sign to put together all before 5 pm on Tuesday. Today, 06/30, I contacted Fifty Flowers, explained the condition of the roses and sent photos. Essentially, they blamed me for their poor quality product and said that I should have kept cardboard around the roses, and cut off three to four inches of stalk and removed bottom leaves. Do not use this company, I have their text messages that demonstrate their lack of care and concern for their customers at a really important time in their lives. The one bright spot is that the 50 white hydrangeas I ordered recovered once placed in buckets with cold water.

"SO disappointed"
I ordered from FiftyFlowers for my 2015 wedding (several packs of roses and greenery), and had a great experience. They called me and told me they didn't think the quality of one of my choices was going to be there, so they helped me pick an alternative. Was totally happy.

Today, the experience was COMPLETELY different. Ordered a DIY pack for arrangements for a shower I was hosting. When the flowers arrived, the number of flowers on the PACKING LIST did not match what was actually in the box (particularly, the MAIN FLOWER...that the pack was named after. There was only ONE!). Of the nine flowers I received for the pack, four were molded. The other TWENTY stems were all just leaves and filler.

I first tried to call customer service. No one ever answered the phone (and that hold music will make you lose your mind). Got on the live chat and sent pictures to my represenative. She told me that 1) they do not guarantee quantity of any one flower despite the packing list showing totally different numbers, 2) that only 2 of the flowers were affected, and 3) that the rest needed "hydration." (They were already in buckets of water, so clearly I was on that).

So two of my problems were completely ignored, despite pictures showing mold. Then they offered me a gift certificate for the affected flowers, but I would not be able to use it to get more flowers for my event. HELPFUL! I asked if they would just refund me for the affected flowers and they agreed.

Now I have a whole bunch of leaves and some sad, gross flowers I'm going to have to throw out. I can't believe that they even offer this product if this is the quality they are ok with providing. I get to spend time I THOUGHT I was saving by ordering from FiftyFlowers running around to find flowers at supermarkets now.

If this was in 2015, I would say this FiftyFlowers is great. 2022...I would say just look for local wholesalers so you don't have to deal with the headache that this company causes now.

"My order was perfect"
My order was perfect. Customer Service was excellent.

The most important things is to receive flowers on time . They were on time and they kept me posted from the time they were on the way until I received them.

"FIFTYFLOWERS is the best company ever!"
FIFTYFLOWERS is the best company ever! I ordered flowers & greenery for my wedding and all of the flowers arrived fresh. FiftyFlowers also gives free shipping, which is not cheap, so be careful. I couldn’t be happier with my experience!

"I ordered flowers to make bouquets with…"
I ordered flowers to make bouquets with a delivery date of Thursday. The bouquets had to be made Thursday to be ready for Friday. We got a text Thursday to say they are sorry but the flowers won’t be delivered until Friday. They first offered a credit and then only partially refunded us and still charged us for the shipping and handling and said they can’t be responsible for the shipping. Because they didn’t deliver on time, I had to drive all over looking for replacement flowers at 4 different stores. A partial refund was not acceptable for the loss of a day, gas money driving around and the stress. It was more than inconvenient. The flowers I ordered from Costco arrived on time and were beautiful. Fifty Flowers is not reliable and didn’t understand the seriousness of not following through with a delivery for a wedding. They weren’t even willing to refund shipping and handling.

"NO CUSTOMER SERVICE after you order & pay!"
My $1500 worth of flowers showed up 1 to 5 days before the wedding. Unfortunately the 250 roses & stock came in on Friday before the Saturday wedding. UPS couldn’t verify what was being delivered on Friday, so we had to buy other flowers. Needless to say, no matter what you do (sugar water, cutting stems, etc.), roses do not fully open in less than 24 hours. While the flowers ended up looking beautiful thanks to a professional florist & other fresh bought roses, the stress was unreal. The 2 star rating is an average of 4 star for the flowers & 0 star for customer service. Once you place your order & pay your money, NO ONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE ANSWERS THEIR HELP LINE OR RETURNS MESSAGES AND TEXTS. This is inspite of receiving an email from my “personal” 50Flowers contact in case of a question or problem. That part of their business model is a scam! What a shame.

"Horrible experience"
I placed a small order for a small wedding. Four days before the event they called to say that due to weather issues they would not be able to ship the blush roses but could sub ivory roses. I disliked the color and asked if there were any other light pink flowers they could sub but apparently the week I was getting married they only had ivory roses? In any case she assured me that the rest of my order would be fine. I did receive the carnations. The next day I was to receive the greenery box which should have contained green and white hydrangea and a couple other light green filler plants. What I received wasn’t even close. I received a box full of multicolored wildflowers. I attempted to call and was on hold for 30 minutes before a recording told me to call back later. I tried the live chat and was waiting in their queue. Started at position 7 and after 40 minutes moved to position 4 but then it disconnected and then reconnected and moved me back to position 7! I tried calling back multiple times with the same result, on hold for close to 30 minutes (after being told the wait time was 8 minutes) and then having the call disconnected. I ended up disputing the charge on my credit card. I’m not sure what’s going on but after this experience I’ll never order from them again. Luckily I went to a local florist who helped me with what I needed (and it was less expensive!). Should have done that in the first place. DO NOT order from fifty flowers if you expect a timely delivery, expect to get what you ordered or if you need customer service.

"Do not buy flowers from these people"
Do not buy flowers from these people. They did not follow delivery directions. The website states they ship 72 to 24 hours prior to shipping date, they shipped 6 days ahead AND they delivered a day ahead of the delivery date. Thank goodness I was home.
To make matters worse my flowers were hydrangea, imagine how they did not hold up for my event since they were shipped so far out of the date needed.
I emailed immediately when I saw the shipping date, I received the automatic response, no one contacted me, in the meantime I called, was left on hold and then instructed to leave my number and they would call back NEVER heard back. My first and Last time ordering from them

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY"
If I could give them a 0, I would. We ordered nearly 1000 flowers for our daughter's wedding. I was in touch with them for months beforehand, asking about when the flowers should arrive, etc. I checked my order and tracking numbers daily before the wedding. Well, the flowers got caught up in Customs, and no one at 50 Flowers could have cared less. No one answered the help line, the chat line, anything. We were utterly stranded with only 100 flowers the day before our daughter's wedding. Thankfully, we had used a local florist for some flowers, and she came through big time. The rest of our order came an hour before the rehearsal dinner for which we had ordered flowers. No one EVER called me. There were no other solutions presented (i.e., we can get you some American flowers tomorrow, or what have you). Despite their assurances that they would swoop in with help if anything went wrong, they ignored me. There was one rep who was so nice and said that I wouldn't have to pay for flowers if they didn't get there in time. As I was DRIVING TO THE CHURCH, I got a text message saying they weren't responsible for delays. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They completely screwed us.

UPDATE: Four days later, and I still have not received a call from customer support. Was on the help chat and was promised a call, apologies, etc., but no one has contacted me. They just don't care.

"Deceptive trade practices."
I used fiftyflowers.com for about ten years for a large annual event I produce and honestly, I was very happy with the quality of the flowers and of the service.

Recently I went to purchase flowers for a promotion at one of my restaurants and I was dismayed to see that the price quoted on the web page was not the actual price. They add an additional fee with little explanation and no way to opt out. If you click on the "details" link next to the charge you get a long-winded story about COVID19 and times being tough.

I contacted their customer service twice to see if I might opt out of this fee but they never responded. In my state, and probably most others, advertising a price for an item when the consumer cannot actually purchase the item at that price, as fiftyflowers.com does, is considered a deceptive trade practice and is illegal. It is sad that it will probably take some states Attorney General contacting them before they discontinue this practice.

"RUN AWAY--THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!"
I ordered two bouquets (one for me and one for a friend) and both were TERRIBLE! The first one was a day or two late and the flowers were extremely poor--half dead and not the colors they described or advertised. COMPLETE RIP OFF! The second batch to a friend was just as bad--completely embarrassing. Had to order again from a decent place. ESCAPE THIS LOUSY VENDOR AND SHOP ELSEWHERE!

"Say it with dead flowers"
My first order from this company came from Ecuador--after 5 dys in transit, the flowers were brown around rhe edges. I called the company, got credit, and, the next time, ordered the California Grow Box and, at their advice chose Weds. as my delivery day so the flowers could be overnighted FROM California.
I wrote on the order that I didn't care what day the flowers were delivered, I just wanted them to come from California and spend as little time in transit as possible.

Guess what? They again shipped from Ecuador. As other reviewers have noted, there is NO WAY flowers from Ecuador shipped on a Friday night and delivered on Wednesday will be fresh when they arrive.

But the flowers didn't arrive-- it is now 6 days later and no flowers. They can't be blamed for the weather, but they can be blamed for ignoring "California" and sending me something (what, I don't know!) from Ecuador, without asking first.

My guess is that when or rather if they finally arrive, they will be dead. So, I will not be ordering from them again. What was supposed to be a treat turned into a frustrating annoyance.
